I don’t recall the author, but some sci-fi author recently wrote a book about the post-rapture in which no one noticed it had occurred. Compared to the current world population, it’s a small number that’s suppose to be carried off to Heaven per the bible. Would anyone really notice if it really occurred?

I think there will be much longer time than the 5 months described on this car between the rapture and the end of the world as we know it.
