  1. Epic on so many levels. Darth Vader driving a Honda K20 powered Ariel Atom. It doesn’t get much cooler than that.

  7. Don’t get too close; looks like he’s got a bodyguard escort:

  9. Sweet. I can imagine Vader racing through the halls of the Death Star knocking over Tarkin and the Emperor.

  11. Oh yeah, I just had a nerdgasm. Damn, I’m not usually into cars, but that is hot.

  13. there’s another like this with a storm trooper in a lotus

  15. NOT BAD, I’d drive that!

  17. I’m on the leader!

  19. This is stupid. Looks like a messed up version of the Batmobile and the fact that they ruined it even further by adding Darth Vader? This person seriously needs to get a life.

  20. Kendall on June 21st, 2010
  21. Yeah, I can believe that’s Vader’s daily commuter ride.

  22. Hawk on June 21st, 2010
  23. Kendall,

The car is the Ariel Atom. It accelerates to 60 in 2.5 seconds. I wouldn’t call that stupid.

  24. Hondaguy on June 21st, 2010
  25. I nominate this for the YDW? Hall Of Fame.

  26. sitboaf on June 21st, 2010
  27. I love the Ariel Atom, but in that all-black paint, it looks like one badass bat outta hell!

  28. mr. Anonymous on June 21st, 2010
  29. That must be one of the first V8 versions of the Ariel Atom. As if the supercharged 300 HP one wasn’t enough, this trim looks exactly like the Ariel Atom 500 V8. This image is an epic win for any ad campaign!

  31. I have to admit, that’s pretty cool… even if it is Rice powered. For me the ultimate production Vader-mobile will be the 87 GNX.

  32. Matt on June 21st, 2010
  33. Rice powered. Yeah. Honda powered is what it is. A Honda engine that was made in America.

  34. Hondaguy on June 21st, 2010
  35. Does no one else realize that the title “dark knight” is moronic considering it has nothing to do with darth vader? title caption FAIL

  36. sparkymark on June 22nd, 2010
  37. @sparkymark: Dude, it’s “DARTH knight.” As in, Vader’s personal batmobile. Get a grip, put your glasses on, and have a better day.

  38. Gunny on June 22nd, 2010
  39. Well, if you actually read it, you’ll see it says “Darth Knight” And if you look at who’s driving the car, you’ll see it’s a guy in a Darth Vader costume. Title Caption Reading FAIL

  40. Hondaguy on June 22nd, 2010
  41. EPIC WIN.

  42. GoCanes on June 23rd, 2010
  43. @sparkymark: the caption is “Darth Knight” because a) the vehicle in the picture (Ariel Atom) in that paint job resembles the vehicle from the familiar Batman flick; b) Darth Vader is pictured seated within said vehicle. I don’t think it requires much more explanation.

    >> This is stupid…. This person seriously needs to get a life.

I donno. This person seems to have a pretty kick ass life working here. If you think that this is “stupid” and have a problem with something like this then I would be willing to wager that *your* life must fucking suck and being around someone with your apparently to nonexistent imagination would suck even worse.
