  3. It looks like a mildy customized 1937 Studebaker pickup

  5. One of two things. Someone is building a art deco style custom and this is a work in progress shot. This was a flower / funeral car from the era that is having some bodywork done to it. Either way…..very cool and I wish I could see it when it’s done.

  17. Not bad, I’d use different wheels, preferably Cragars and paint it!

  18. Karma Hoser on October 4th, 2010
  19. Very nice!

  20. MustangGuy on October 4th, 2010
  21. It is a 1937 Chevy Ute (short for utility) A ute is different from a truck in the way that it has a passenger car style body with a truck bed connected to it. As opposed to a commercial style body with a truck bed on it but physically separated from the body.

  23. I am pretty sure it is a modded SSR the rear end is a little bit too round to be a Ute.

  24. DUDE on October 4th, 2010
  25. I like it… would love to see when it’s done.

  26. Matt on October 5th, 2010
  27. @ DUDE – http://lmgtfy.com/?q=chevy+ssr Your argument is invalid.

Note that the SSR fenders would have to be completely cut off in order to make room for this vehicle’s clamshell fenders and side-mounted headlights.

  29. this truck rocks as it stands!

  30. Tim on October 6th, 2010
  31. I don’t know anything about it other than I LOVE it as is.

  32. GOTTCHA! on October 6th, 2010
  33. Good on ya’, Mate! That’s a bloody good ‘Ute! I don’t reckon you need paint in NT. It never bloody rains, mate!

  34. N_F_Special on October 9th, 2010
  35. Liking the whitewalls…very retro. Makes me think of a rat rod/SSR/DeLorean

  36. citizencia on October 17th, 2010
  37. Its a Rat Rod. Not sure what model vehicle though.

  38. Chris on October 17th, 2010
  39. Thought it might be a partially finished mod of a Chevy SSR?
