I had the chance to buy a Vespa scooter in Sorrento, Italy in the early ’80s for 1,400,000 lire ($700). Just couldn’t figure out how to get it back on board my ship, which was at anchor in Naples.
For those who wouldn’t be caught dead riding “bitch” on a Vespa. Hopefully there’s enough room in the sidecar that you can scrunch down and hide from view.
I’d like to see that scooter try to take on a steep hill with two people on board.
