I can see what they’re TRYING to do. I saw a trike during bike week not long ago, and it had the rear-end of a ’50s Caddy — fins and all. This one misses that mark by a mile, though.
i would never trust myself (or anyone) in a homemade trike. you gotta give ‘em props for the engineering aspect of it though…. either that or they have too much time on their hands…
That’s the front end off a 91-96 Ford Escort, with the rear panel and spoiler. My brother has a 96 Escort that he uses as a work car, 270k miles and all… it even had the same rims til he got some ‘cooler’ ones from a buddy who had a set to sell.
Actually, this is some pretty good engineering if it actually works. If it’s got the factory Ford 4 cylinder, I bet it really scoots! Most trikes look rather ‘off’ IMHO so this isn’t any weirder (to me) than any of the others– in fact I think it’s cooler since it’s ‘re-engineered’.
Now do that with a Ford Festiva or Geo Metro… OL JR
I have been planning one based on my own idea, but looks like some one beat me. I am using a 96 Honda Accord automatic. Hope to have it on the road by early spring.
Is that the back end of a temp? If so i give that man 10pts!

It isn’t just the backend of a tempo (might be a escort) but its the front end melded to the back end.
All I can say is that I am impressed. Wow that is horrible.
Also spotted him a few weeks ago in Moncks Corner, SC. You can kinda see it, but his shifter is a floor shifter where the bike engine should be.
WHY! WHY! WHY!
Just brilliant…
Why didn’t he just put the cooler in the trunk? That’s what it’s there for right? Lol
If a Tempo, I agree with the 10 points. However, I own one and the front looks a little too slanted. Mine is much flatter and level.
AHAHAHA!!! I think I peed a little…
oh hillbillies…
Um, wow
I don’t think that is that rear end of a Tempo… but it is a Ford… looks like the back of a Ford Escort..

Saw one at Sturgis with the back end of a ‘Vette and it was very well done. Didn’t look chopped and stuck on at all! Now THAT was classy!
From the local newspaper: Fortunately no one was on the motorcycle when it was rearended by the car and they fused together.
It could be worse… he could have to pedal it like a real tricycle. The Fred Flintstone Ford Motorcycle.

Looks like it could be a Geo Metro roear too, hard to tell from the angle! At least I haven seen anyone do this to a Harley yet thank god!
The auto-bike tricycle hybrid only makes sense if the back of the thing is a VW Beetle; this is like some sort of hillbilly “Road Warrior” knockoff.
