  1. Paint job or not, it’s still a deathbox.

  3. Caption sucks. Not funny.

  5. Not sure why you had to use “dumbass” here. Seems juvenile.

  7. not too smart, I’d say.

  9. These cars are supposed to actually be really safe but in the land of Excursions and Silverados I would never dream of driving something so small. Plus, they’re ugly.

  11. What’s the smartest thing about one of these? If you die in a car crash, they can just bury you as is. No need to buy a coffin.

  13. Cute car and the door graphics are good for a giggle as well.

  15. @Matt, I’ve seen the crash test videos on those, and they bounce around like a ping-pong ball in a Shop-Vac when they get hit!! As to the caption, yeah, it’s juvenile, but it fits! Ever looked under the hood of one of those? I’ve seen bigger engines in a riding lawn mower!!

  17. This car actually has a VERY strong structure. They ran one of these into a road barrier at 70 MPH, and the passenger compartment was still in VERY good shape. The doors even opened after the crash! Nobody is very likely to walk away from that kind of crash…especially in a huge hunk of metal (like an SUV) with TONS more inertia. I’d like to see ANY SUV go through a crash like that and be in the same shape as this smart car. Oh…and to prove I’m not full of it, click the link below or simply do a web search for smart car into barrier.
