Now that is a hardcore ham radio operator. I see the “Skywarn” sticker on the back, he probably works with the city/county emergency services. Those volunteer Hams saved my house when communications went out in my area when we had a bunch of wildfires.
He is a very serious Ham operator. Those are not considered clothes lines those are antenna’s on the poles.I see he is in storm watch and loves it.My husband is a Ham operator and has been for over 15yrs and has antenna’s like that at the house and can do storm watch but his work scedule prevents it.I love those guys cause they save alot of lives doing what they do.We know several that do it and have saved resident’s of a nursing home i worked at when a tornado was coming.

Definitely a ham. I’m a ham too, and have been involved with SKYWARN. Only have one HF whip on my van, though.
