There’s something weird about this photo. Looks like the car was photo-shopped and superimposed on somebody’s neighborhood. Back of the car is kinda out of focus but the house behind is in focus. The sun is shining on the right side of the car, but the sun is casting shadows on the houses through the trees, which means it’s shining from the left side of the car. Never mind, it’s still a dynamite ride.
Yeah, it looks like the car was poorly Photoshopped onto the background because the left side of the car is sitting higher than the right, the shadow under the front end just doesn’t look right and the depth-of-field is inconsistent from the back of the car to the house like Up North said. The bumpers look like fiberglass with chrome reflections airbrushed on so that adds to the wrongness of the pic.
That stuck-in-the-’80s graphic job, however, looks unfortunately real and so do the zoomie headers. Trailer Queen!!!
This was NOT photoshopped. The right side of the car is higher b/c it looks like it has a hydraulic system. If you look through the front fender well between the tire and the body, you can see the bushes that are next to the house. You can also see the trees through the tinted glass if you look hard enough. This goes to the idiot who said the back of the car was out of focus: get your f’n eyes checked. The back of the car is not out of focus. For those of you who say this is photoshopped, quit being haters and pricks…
This is ONE BADASS BEL AIR!
Ok for all you idiots that’s a drag car for one ever hear of torque twist that’s why the left side of the car sits up higher and about the bumpers yes they are fiberglass lighter to go faster duh is photo is in no way photo shopped
That is one mean clean dragging machine love the custom paint job
Kevin, is this your photo? It sure sounds like it the way you are defending it. Lighten up. People are allowed to have an opinion, and if their opinion is the picture looks photoshopped then so be it. It’s the first thing I thought till I looked closer.
This is 100% photoshopped. I work for a magazine and we photoshop all the time. The rear wheel-well is where it’s the worst. It looks like someone tried to get the cars rear fins in and didn’t quite pull it off. The rear tire is out of focus, but you can clearly see the art above the wheel-well. It’s strange, but fun to look at.
seen that car in person….shit AINT photoshop…. trailer queen….maybe. but the floors and everything are painted to match… seen it a few time on the super chevy tour….
its real…and nice… alot of time and money… i think it was for sale on racingjunk.com a while back
Even if it’s photoshopped or not who ever would think to do it is a dumb ass.. cuz you know someone planned to do it if it isn’t real. a stock color of black and no god damn blower could make that car worth over 100k.
I don’t care what anybody says, that front end looks like one of the airbrush paintings they used to put on the top of the AMT model kits. I don’t normally get into these photoshop debates, but everything about this pic just looks wrong to me…& yes, I used to be in the graphics trade myself, spliced together many pictures the old school way…and I’m calling Photoshop on this one!
Restored, $40K at best. It’s a post, not a hardtop. Won’t be worth $100K no matter what you do to it. Personally, I think a single color or two-tone would work better and wouldn’t get dated, but that stuff doesn’t get you on the cover of a mag. Nice Ride!
Photoshopped!
sweet
That’s not so bad is it? At least not a site like this!
That is one bad ass bel air.
Awesome ride! Would love to hear it and ride in it!
Wow, someone put a lot of time and money into that dragster.
this is by far one of the nicest cars i have seen on here. wow

That ain’t Photoshopped. It’s sitting in the shade of the house that’s behind the camera. Look at the shadow on the street.
Wow! That is a very nice ride! What’s it doing on a site like this?
thats badass! it does kinda look photoshopped though, it looks kinda cartoony.
Over the top! I love it! I’d love it more if it was a solid color or a Bel Air two tone traditional color….
I wouldn’t kick it out of my driveway!
