  1. With the exception of those stupid window air shields, that’s actually pretty sweet.

  3. Complete crap… that is not how you’re supposed to customize a Jeep.

You’re an idiot, mexicans have no taste in what they drive, that would have been a nice 4X4. Mexicans love to do sh*t like this to sports cars too. WHY??????

Oh by the way Mike, it sounds like you’re a mexican too.

  7. Somebody needs to rescue this XJ and treat it like the JEEP it’s supposed to be.

  11. Well, maybe if it was painted all black, with black (or no) trim, heftier off-road tires, gun ports under the windows, some obvious rocket launchers along the side or top, and drop the roof spoiler, it might look like a refugee from a movie called Damnation Alley.

    But then again…………..

  13. It *might* be two wheel drive. But that is still no excuse for doing that.

  15. To me this looks like a throw back custom from the early 90s when they use to do crazy things like this (i mean look at those ancient dayton rims this might actually be a survivor of that time period)

  17. As a fellow xj owner I’m upset that some one would do this. I have seen them lowered before and even bagged this is not what jeeps were made for. Put a 5″ lift with 33s and u have something to work with

  19. Well it’s not mine (which is probably good because it would otherwise be trashed and muddy) but I think it’s kind of ok.

Here’s what I would do. Remove stupid spoiler, remove headlight covers/taillight covers, remove too-low bodykit, remove stupid window visor thing (side windows), keep windsheild visor.

I think it would look ok if it weren’t overdone.

  21. I am willing to bet my right testicle that a mexican built this “rig”

  23. THE CHEROKEE IS FROM THE LATE 80′S EARLY 90′S IN HARTFORD CONNECTICUT. THIS IS HOW THEY WHERE CUSTOMIZED BACK THEN. IT WASN’T BY MEXICANS. IT WAS A HIP HOP CULTURE THING THAT WHITÉS ,BLACKS AND PUERTO RICANS WERE INTO. YOU WOULD NORMALLY SEE THIS AROUND NEW YORK,MASSACHUSETTS, CONNECTICUT AND SURROUNDING AREAS. YES THIS IS ACTUALLY A SURVIVOR FROM THE 90′S I SAW THIS AROUND HARTFORD CONNECTICUT WHEN I WAS IN HIGH SCHOOL. IT HAS HELD UP WELL OVER THE YEARS.

  25. As a Connecticut resident, I don’t know whether to be repulsed or impressed. Some portions of it I like, and some I hate…
It’s better than that stick on chrome crap from autozone…

  27. I can’t believe that wasn’t built by a Mexican. The windshield visor, ground effects, plastic thing on the side windows, exterior upholstery, snap-on tail light covers, stick-on fake hood vent, goofy spoiler, and rims that are too wide for the tires are all dead give-aways. All that’s missing is a mural of the Virgin de Guadalupe along side an image of the vehicle itself painted on the back.
